Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the PraKul website — both the BAMS learning platform and consultation booking. Please read them before creating an account.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or booking a consultation you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. The service is provided by [Registered legal name — to be provided], the practice of Dr. Prasanna Kulkarni.

2. Who may use PraKul

The learning platform is intended for students of the BAMS First Professional curriculum. Consultation booking is open to anyone seeking care at the clinic.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must create the account and agree to these terms for you.

3. Your account

An account is personal to you. Do not share it, and do not let anyone else sign in with it. Sharing an account is grounds for withdrawing access without refund.

Sign-in uses an authenticator app. Keep your backup codes somewhere safe — they are the only way back in if you lose your device, each works once, and using one re-pairs your authenticator. We cannot recover an account with neither.

Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used your account.

4. Course material and how you may use it

The chapters, revision notes, concept infographics, audio recordings and assessment questions on PraKul are the original work of Dr. Prasanna Kulkarni and are protected by copyright.

Your access is a personal, non-transferable licence to study this material inside the platform for as long as your access lasts. You may read it, and take your own notes from it. You may not:

  • download, copy, screenshot, record or otherwise reproduce the material for distribution;
  • share it with anyone else, including classmates, group chats, file-sharing sites or coaching institutes;
  • republish, sell, or use it to build a competing course or dataset, including to train a machine-learning model;
  • attempt to bypass the access controls that serve this material only to entitled students.

Breaching this section ends your access immediately and without refund, and may lead to legal action.

5. Access periods

A learning pass runs for 1 month from the date it starts. It is a one-off payment and does not renew automatically — nothing is charged again unless you buy another month yourself. We do not store your card details, so there is no standing mandate to cancel.

If you buy another month while you still have time left, the new month is added to the end of your current access rather than replacing it. When a pass runs out, your progress, bookmarks and revision history stay on your account; only the chapter content locks until you buy again. Refunds are covered in our cancellation & refund policy.

6. Consultations

Booking a slot reserves time with the doctor. Please arrive, or join the video call, at the time booked. If you need to change or cancel, see the cancellation & refund policy.

The website is not a substitute for medical care and is not for emergencies. Nothing on PraKul — including the learning material, the constitution quiz and the symptom questionnaire — is medical advice or a diagnosis. If you have a medical emergency, contact your nearest hospital or emergency service immediately.

A doctor–patient relationship begins at your consultation, not through the website. Advice given at a consultation is for you alone, based on what you tell the doctor; please give accurate information and follow up as advised.

7. Payments

Where a fee applies, prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or bank details. A payment is complete only when Razorpay confirms it to us.

8. Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service, upload anything harmful, or use the site to harass anyone. We may suspend an account that puts the service or other users at risk.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep PraKul available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. We may add, change or withdraw features, and we may update these terms. Where a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the change.

10. Our liability

We provide the learning material in good faith as a study aid aligned to the NCISM curriculum. We do not guarantee any particular examination result.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using PraKul and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, particularly the section on course material. Sections that by their nature should survive — copyright, liability, governing law — continue to apply afterwards.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

13. Contact

Write to [Contact email — to be provided] or call [Contact phone — to be provided]. Postal address: [Registered address — to be provided].
